Reflecting on Progress, Strengthening Action: PASS Project Annual Reflection Meeting 2026
On 24 June 2026, the Cambodia Women’s Crisis Center (CWCC) organised the 2025–2026 PASS Project Annual Reflection Meeting in Svay Leu District, Siem Reap Province.
The meeting brought together 50 participants (28 Females) , including gender-based violence (GBV) Working Group, local authorities, and representatives from women and youth’s groups. Together, participants reviewed achievements, share lessons learned, discussed challenges, and identified priority plans for the coming year.
The reflection meeting successfully strengthened collaboration among service providers and community stakeholders. Ultimately, these efforts ensure a more sustainable, coordinated, high-quality and well-coordinated response to reducing violence against women and girls.
With CWCC as an implementing partner, the Australian Government, continues to support efforts to improve access to essential services for women and girls through the Promoting Access to Sustainable Services (PASS) Project. Strengthening Community Action to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence in Kampong Speu and Siem Reap. In June 2026, Cambodia Women’s Crisis Center (CWCC) organised 8 quarterly meetings with Women and Youth Support Groups in Samakki Meanchey District, Kampong Speu Province and Svay Leu District, Siem Reap Province.
A total of 101 participants, including 82 women, took part in reviewing achievements from community awareness-raising activities, discussing challenges and case reporting, and planning activities for the next quarter. These meetings helped strengthened coordination, promote information sharing, and support ongoing community efforts to prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV). The meeting was conducted under the Promoting Access to Sustainable Services (PASS) Project, implemented by CWCC with support from the Australian Government. Through this project women and girl survivors of GBV, including those with disabilities are empowered and supported to claim their rights and access inclusive, quality essential services.

From June 22-27, 2026. The CWCC, COCD, and VCAO consortium are implementing the "Ending Corporal Punishment and Promoting Positive Parenting in Cambodia (EVAC)" project, funded by terre des hommes Deutschland e.V., in the provinces of Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, and Kampong Thom.
As part of this initiative, a Training of Trainers on Positive Discipline and Effective Classroom Management has been provided Provincial and District Offices in Kampong Thom, Kampong Chhnang, and Pursat by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). Following the training, these trainers conducted additional sessions for school principals, school management committees, and teachers to ensure broader implementation of positive discipline approaches in schools.
To monitor progress and offer additional support, consortium partners, in collaboration with Training of Trainers from MoEYS, organized a second follow-up field visit to six target schools at Primary Schools and Secondary Schools in Kampong Chhnang, Pursat and Kampong Thom provinces from June 22-27, 2026. This visit aimed to assess the training implementation, identify best practices, address challenges, and refine strategies to enhance the project's impact. #EVAC #CWCC

Annual Reflection Meeting for 2025
Phnom Penh: On December 22-23, 2025, funded by Terre des Hommes Germany, CWCC, VCAO and COCD have been implementing the project “Ending Corporal Punishment and Promoting Positive Parenting in Cambodia (EVAC)”. Cambodian Women’s Crisis Center (CWCC), in collaboration with COCD and VCAO, organized the Annual Reflection Meeting for 2025 to update on the achievements of the project implementation, share experiences of good practices, lessons learned, challenges, solutions, provide recommendations for continued implementation and develop a strategic plan for 2026.

The 2-day meeting included the following key topics:
1. Refresher on “Child Participation”
2. Sharing about Results-Based Reporting and Case Recording Form
3. Fraud Awareness Raising
As a result, the project implementation team has gained more understanding of compliance with the principles, understanding of fraud, and in addition, the team has continued its commitment to continue collaborating and working hard to implement activities in a timely and effective manner.

Banteay Meanchey: On Thursday and Friday , 11-12 September 2025, under the support from SOLIDAR SUISSE, Cambodian Women’s Crisis Center (CWCC) organized a training course on safe migration, human trafficking, violence against women, and the code of ethical recruitment agency , located in Ou Ruessei Village, SangKat Ou Ruessei , Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province. The session had 17participants, 12 females. Of those, were all community support group members. The purpose of the course is to enhance the capacity and knowledge of participants, who are community support groups so that they can disseminate to their communities to be part of contributing to reducing unsafe migration, human trafficking, and domestic violence, and to disseminate information regarding technical and vocational training programs (TVET) in Banteay Meanchey province, which is part of raising the income of both skilled and unskilled citizens and having the opportunity to find work or strengthen your skills to get better jobs and higher salaries in line with local labor market needs and reduce migration. #CWCC #SOLIDAR #CASMART
